Move

My mat has always been my ‘return to self’ space.

I have experienced many body movement (Asana) forms with wonderful teachers from all over the world.

In 2019, a string of unplanned events enabled the gift of spending a month in Dharamsala, India, exploring the deeper treasures of this ancient art.

My sharing focus is Self A self created Asana practice.

Integrating stillness and movement.

2019, Hatha Yoga – Sidhi Yoga, Dharamsala, India
2021, Yin Yoga Level 1 – Gillian Cawte, UK

Feed

I grew up in Malaysia, surrounded by creative home cooks.  My father taught me to appreciate the intricacies of Chinese cooking.  My mother, the spicy heat of Malay and my grandmother the fusion of South Indian Malaysian.  I spent my early childhood with an aunt who could magic the most incredible food from very basic store cupboard ingredients.  Every day was a food adventure for a child growing up in multi cultural Malaysia.

Warm hugs were home cooked meals, welcoming all visitors, whatever time of day.  ‘Saaptingla’ (Tamil) – have you eaten? If not, please come in and I will prepare you food from my heart!

In England, I experienced the joys of family roasts, pies, cakes, jams, chutneys and fresh homegrown vegetables.
Living as an expat in Malawi, France, Turkey, Libya and Shanghai further expanded my culinary repertoire. Food is a simple unifying pleasure.
